Looks like the ASUS 5k monitor has a price. $800 isn't bad. Arguably better connectivity than the Samsung + KVM support, no goofy "smart" functionality and internal PSU. Though as a fan of minimal look and no visible branding, I think the Samsung looks quite a bit better. No idea how aggressive their matte coating is.
