For amigurumi I tend to use Aran weight cotton (any brand, I’m not fussy!) And generally I like working with cotton, especially for blankets as they end up lovely and heavy!
Generally I’m trying to switch to only using natural fibres. This is a personal thing to reduce my plastic consumption in craft. I’m looking for alternatives to fibrefill for toys too. I was thinking about wool, but it can be a bit sheepy smelling. Open to suggestions!
