You can place a piece next to another piece if it either matches the shape or the color (or infill pattern in this case). If there are two or more neighbouring pieces to a spot, at least one has to match the shape and at least one has to match the color/pattern. The more neighbouring pieces there are, the more points you score. The dark border pieces will not gain any points.",
