I didn’t realize that Inge Morath, who was married to Playwright Arthur Miller, was the one who took this photo. Born in Austria in 1923, she became the first woman accepted into the prestigious Magnum Photo Agency in Paris. She first met Miller while shooting production stills for the film “The Misfits,” written by Miller, directed by John Huston and starring Clarke Gable, Marylin Monroe, and Montgomery Cliff. #Photography #Writing
