I watched Cop Secret, an Icelandic film from 2021 that's kinda similar in vibe to Hot Fuzz in that it's a comedy presented seriously. Obviously there's copaganda, but if you can suspend that disbelief, it's funny, good action, and actually pretty queer-friendly and has a pansexual MC (not saying any more not to spoil the story).
