Apple is a genius at marketing and design. They make it look good, pretty reliable, and sound like it is one of the most luxurious things you ever heard of (and at times sound like they invented the whole concept). Which can be great if you got the money and are so inclined (something to be said about it just works from any brand). But if you want true cutting edge, you likely will find it elsewhere years before they add it.
