I can't get behind that personally. I hate that node aps use env variables. I think it's extremely messy, I dislike containers for the same reason. I understand the utility, but for an application (especially a server application) a typed and documented configuration file is ideal. Most of my apps would need 100s of variables and if I'm not mistaken there is an os limit that smaller than that.
I had another good point but I forgot it in the making of this node XD
