At the U.S. Department of Interior, multiple people have been fired over not giving DOGE access to the Federal Personnel and Payroll System.
These include Interior Chief Information Officer Darren Ash, Chief Information Security Officer Stan Lowe and the HR director for the Interior Business Center, Julie Bednar along with Associate Solicitor Tony Irish.
Additionally the Chief Data Officer and Chief Technology Officer have taken deferred resignation.
