Ran a call the other day. Not an old patient, under 50. She said, “I wish I wouldn’t have taken the covid shots.” Her legs were triple the size they should’ve been. We call that edema. CHF patient. Her daughter, a “nurse” talked her into taking it. Now she’s dying. She said “I don’t blame my daughter, I blame myself for listening and believing in her, over my instincts.”
Her daughter also “knows she was wrong.”
I can’t imagine the weight those two hold between them. Though, the love they still hold for one another, is truly remarkable.
