It’s funny seeing people compare Nostr to blockchain-based social media apps like Deso or Farcaster.
All of those have a global state (on-chain) and all clients are reading the same data.
Nostr is entirely different because of the relay model. There is no “global state” really.
This actually causes a lot of challenges around UX, but is ultimately the better model.
