hi y'all. i'm leaving Mastodon completely. i'm deactivating my account at the end of the night before i go to bed. dm for my discord if you still want to talk and be friends with me.

all of the instances on here have made me worse. while before i was completely anti-contact, and had morals, that changed. only because i came here. before i had no interest or desire in certain forms of porn. but being on here has made me seek out, watch, and even enjoy things that are wrong, immoral, and illegal. this is not who i am.

i always believed that if you don't allow yourself to seek community, then your desires will only get worse and cause you to become the very thing you are against. i was wrong. even though i followed that, i still fell into the thing i was against, the thing that i was victim to. i'm not saying this is the same for everyone, but it has been for me.

therefore, im leaving Mastodon. i will not be making new accounts.
