I have some albums that…I can't fathom how a needle flying through a groove doesn't produce at least some noise and then others that are closer to that familiar cassette tape hiss that is there but not above the music. Then I have some totally new albums with groove damage so bad it skips, some that have fine scratches in various places that are very audible and others with bad spots of distortion.",
