There are things I like about C++, but the reason I don't use it is because doing so will attract contributions that use the parts I *don't* like.
The stuff I like:<li>Operator and function overloading (when used responsibly)</li><li>Namespaces</li><li>Smart pointers</li><li>Templates (when used responsibly and in the smallest quantity that does the job)</li><li>Struct inheritance</li><li>Stricter type checking</li>
