Also web user, so I don't know how the apps work, but isn't it simpler to tell users to sign up _through_ the app, if that is possible? I assume an app has some UI for picking instances and signing up for them, no? Would simplify instructions to something like
- find Ivory in app store, install
- type 'oslo.town' when asked for instance, register
