Actually I agree with the post.
Just because alternative A is horrible doesn't mean alternative B becomes magically immune from any critical thinking or criticism.
Do you have a counter argument to the point that the saviour scenario is an oversimplification? Do you have a reason to find the argument itself abhorrent or deserving of censorship?
Taken in a vacuum, would you find the argument itself offensive if the opposition candidate was someone nice?
