Agreed.
I perceive that there are two main types of markets.

1. Profit - free markets. Consumers vote with their wallets and impact what they want or don't want produced in order to improve their lives and happiness. This is the outcome of free agency, individual liberties and property rights.

2. Ideology. In this kind of centrally planned and rigged market, actors are rewarded or punished based on ideology. The driving ideology sorts winners and losers based on compliance with the ruling regime and its authoritarian belief systems. Examples: national socialism, fascism, communism and socialism.

A good example of the ideology-based market is ESG scores where central planners define the ideological framework and mandated policies and beliefs that all commerce have to be filtered through in order to be successful and legal.
