"content": "What I perceive SecDef Hegseth is saying is that they are monitoring to see if they can detect a difference in the levels of enthusiasm among commanders in carrying out the policies of Trump vs those of Biden because from the perspective of service members, Biden's policies were lawful orders that had to be followed.\n\nMy own opinion is that America cannot bestow enough gratitude on commanders who damaged or destroyed their own military careers by resisting what they believed were lawful but immoral orders issued by Biden and enforced by their higher-ups who maybe cared more about doing what they needed to reach retirement than doing what was right. Ultimately, I believe the founders were right:\n\n\"Standing armies in times of peace are a threat to liberty.\"\n\nnostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzp9ta6d58s9atk5lqzc6lkn7pcq5u9n2fyqhvst6pdmpyqcqmxuwcqqs2xsa2p40qzqcm90zp6k88wv9lyly2m75zj2jusstxcd55aq438kge6d7qf ",
