We could talk about the boring, uninteresting mystery here, but isn't it a terrible injustice that the police will come after you for nature photography in the USA, just because you didn't use their app? Why do you care if a drone is "legit" or not? It's all manufactured controversy to justify yet more suppression and control of the few over the many.
