In Indonesia, we have a separatist movement that seeks to break away from the Indonesian territory, and I find myself deeply pondering how to reconcile this.

On the other hand, there is a substantial portion of Indonesian society that is profoundly disappointed with the current government. There is deep-seated disillusionment with the rampant corruption, economic inequality, inadequate law enforcement, and a glaring lack of justice. And, to top it off, electoral fraud increases people's dissatisfaction.

When we look at our wealthier and more prosperous neighboring countries, we can't help but feel a pang of envy. We share the same land, the same earth, so why is there such a stark difference?
