Great. Adding the MacBook Air to my Apple account and turning on Unlock with Apple Watch on the Air has disabled Unlock with Apple Watch on my Mac mini. And it won't turn on again even after deactivating it on the Air.
I'll just wait a few weeks for iCloud to sort itself out…
