I admit I am thinking of work adjacent journeys where the cost is less of a factor, but almost all of my longer trips are on interrail - which caps it at least. It doesn’t help the nausea though, looking out the window does somewhat.

I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of a branch line who’s service has improved over the years.
