#MyFirstDistro was Ubuntu Gnome, back when Unity was the default Ubuntu desktop. I had seen it shown off in a video and, to me as a Windows-only user, Gnome had a lot of cool tricks and new-to-me ideas. The emphasis on workspaces was a major one.
I hopped around between several other popular distros after that. Arch was the one I stayed with the longest during my last couple years of school. Since then, I've been enjoying Fedora and Gnome feels better than ever.
