1000ppm CO2 has been "associated" with "fog" roughly equivalent to a shot or a beer. i could pull the DOI refs, but why bother. Having >1000 constantly could be an impediment, i guess.

Oxygen is "poisonous" and narcotic to humans - we attach bits of our bodies to it just to get it out of ourselves. our lungs can't put a C on a CO2 for whatever reason so that's why it's injurious.
