Today I was on Kaitorete, #NZ, helping survey the largest wild population of tororaro, the nationally endangered plant Muehlenbeckia astonii.

We were hosted by the amazing people of #Tāwhaki, who are doing hard mahi to turn around the Kaitorete environment, after the previous owner converted part to irrigated dairy. The tororaro plants on the dry pastures are looking good, although they're not yet regenerating (rabbits+weeds).
