The bright future of Odysee, similar to nostr, and what it means for content creators. Choices are nice, as well as alternatives in case one option meets unexpected problems. No longer do we have to build up followers on each platform, and risk loosing all the hard work when we get kicked or banned from a particular platform.

(i) Innumerable media applications just like Odysee, X, Reddit, Zerohedge, Drudge Report, etc. powered by the same Arweave technology stack which makes them privacy focussed, customizable, and censorship resistant.

(ii) All of these applications can be launched in a matter of moments complete with all the content available within the DME to be surfaced as the content is hosted within the DME and not restricted to any single platform.

(iii) Users can create their own Odysee, blog, forum, or any other application using open fundamentals available within the DME and Arweave.

(iv) A creator no longer needs to build their community on numerous platforms, nor do you need to follow them everywhere. The creator's data (content, followers, views, etc) is the same across all applications within the DME.

(v) No single point of failure: If Odysee or another platform goes down, a thousand can be spun up in its place, complete with all data. If a creator is deplatformed, the creator will still exist, complete with their data on the new generation of the application that just shut down moments ago.

(vi) The DME is not powered by advertisers and all content is open for distribution and surfacing on any other application within the DME provided the application agrees to the terms by which the creator has set for its content distribution.
