From an outsider's perspective:

I guess it depends on their (AMZ's) intent and their consistency.

I am all for transpancy.

But, are they trying to be transparent or just fomenting backlash against the president and his policies because they don't like him or it's affect on their bottomline? I don't know.

If they are being transparent and consistent, then we would see the same practice across the globe in every country that has terrifs. Do Canadian customers see the upcharge from their terrifs? I would guess not. Did they ever publically address the increase in prices due to inflation caused by the Biden admin's horrible policies? I'm guessing not.

It seems most of the tarrifs are a temporary measure to have a strong bargaining chip in the president's effort to rebalance trade deals across the globe. If good deals are made, that will have a big impact on US consumers in the long term, for the better. If Amazon is trying to foment backlash to end the tarrifs prematurely, that seems shortsighted.
