Funny story.

Covid killed the events industry so I pivoted from photographing editorial and pivoted to macro + product photography.

Began a vintage watch business with a friend after buying a bunch of bitcoin + watch related domains.

After my accident, Bitcoin began to tank.
And all the watches sold for Bitcoin began to become worth less than what we would have made selling them in fiat.

My partner became upset and amongst other reasons, we ended our partnership,

He couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t sell the Bitcoin we earned, and he couldn’t figure out how set up a wallet himself, so he said:

“Why don’t you just keep all the Bitcoin stuff”

So I did 😇

Bitcoin is 40% higher now 🚀

We sold less than 5% of our pieces in BTC
I expect that 5% to outperform the fiat from the remaining 95% of sales from that business.
