Bad news: still not Senior Engineer.
Feels like a proper kick in the teeth when I raise that I'm doing a Principal Engineers role, and have been for 3 years now. To not get Senior... Again "Because I don't have a degree"
It's only a further kick in the teeth to be told "everyone sees you as a Senior, if not principal. You walk the walk and are /the/ go-to guy"
But no. Because I generalise and don't have a bit of paper that says I specialise in something am not good enough in HRs eyes
