Fediverse hint that might be too basic to be bothered with ... but just in case.
Mastodon and *key instances have Lists. You can add people you follow to these lists. You could make lists on the basis of topics and add those lists as columns in the browser. (That part isn’t the hint.)
Some folks may toot a lot less than others on your timeline. You might not want to miss their toots while maybe still not reading every single toot that comes into your timeline every day. Add them to a list for folks who toot intermittently and be sure you catch their messages.
