Anyone - especially a teacher - could GM a class to use #ttrpg for language learning.
A teacher would already know a) how to manage a classroom of students, b) what your course outcome should be. With RPGs, you should be able to do (a) by doing (b) using the RPG rules as a course framework.
All we need to do is to craft the framework based on what skills we want the students to develop.
