Yep, but apparently the stock nouveau driver sucks even wose than amd-gpu. I've had some amd gfx related crashes/gpu resets since the later 5.15 kernels and upgraded to a Linux Mint which is using 6.8.x which seemed to still have issues.
I even tried switching gfx hardware to a Nvidia gtx 1650 and it was slow and choppy compared to amd hw. 😐
But! upgrading linux-firmware seemed to help, since there's been a number of updates to the DMA system related to amd gfx cards. It's not perfect yet though.
AMD really need to get their finger out their assholes and fix their drivers and Ryzen/infinity grid sunsystems if they want to have a chance against nvidia or intel!
