Serious question since #Threads is potentially looking into this: if they integrated into AP the ability to run ads on servers as a way to generate money to maintain said server, would you enable them? And based on your experience with other admins, do you think they would?

Background: Meta is thinking of ways to monetize the Fediverse by supporting servers running ads and supporting micro-transactions (this is speculation as of now, re: what’s Meta’s interest in the Fediverse?)
