weird story from this weekend: on trail, watching squirrel chase weasel. all of a sudden dog begins making weird whining, moaning noise. I look around and someone's walking towards us: older male, glasses, binoculars around the neck, looks affable enough. my usually friendly dog is rigid, standing forward, making that weird fucking noise. I say hi and he kinda nods at me; I decide to take dog and leave. for the next five minutes she kept looking back to make sure he wasn't following.
