For me, Bitcoin encouraged a massive mental shift away from immediate consumption toward long term savings in the hardest money we’ve ever discovered. We’ve grown up in this wild environment where it’s almost impossible to “save” in the traditional sense, with 0.01% interest on these absurd fiat savings accounts while that cash is being debased at like 15% per year. So you’re pushed into stock market investments that you don’t understand, which creates a preference for more immediate consumption because the future feels so uncertain.
