Same. I assume experienced SMD rework people just end up ordering whole reels of the common parts, and develop thick calluses on the feet to withstand the carpet full of needle-like capacitors.
I did get okay at doing 0603 after some practice, but I think 0402 is where it became clear I needed the more expensive tweezers where both tips converge on the same point in space, rather than just being in the same approximate neighborhood.
