Brought up nominal Christian. Always attracted to odd things. Many years as a child, imagining myself transformed into various animal forms. Went into fundie Christianity for a good many years, in search of some certainty. Saw through the crap. Found myself waking up talking go Graeco-Roman deities. Originally thought my focus would be Athena, but then Hekate had other ideas. Took time to get past the cognitive dissonance.
