Bitcoin requires more patience than real estate. It's much more volatile, and as a result we're at Bitcoin values seen in December 2020. This makes it a difficult comparison to other assets outside of the periodic price eruptions. The "what has it done for me lately" hurdle has killed more than a few conversations on the relative merits to other asset classes.
