Found a series EE savings bond i paid $25 before 1990. Return was a bit more than triple the amount spent. Not too bad.
Back in the day people i knew would buy us savings bond. Bank teller said they (bank) doesn't (or hasn't) sold any in years.
I told her I still had a booklet of the minute men stamps. I used to get the stamps at school when my mother would give me a dime to get them. 🙂
Wonder if anyone buys US Savings Bonds anymore?? 🤔
*yes i know it will be taxed- next year!
