Appreciated the documentary on him - Van Halen was top 3 bands for me. The documentary gave some insight into how much he tinkered with his guitars/amos/etc.
And regard to early losses, I also miss Stevie Ray and Jeff Healey…and Prince (loved his guitar solo in While My Guitar Gently Weeps with Tom Petty/etc).
