Same with quantum physics. At Gravimatrix we have opensourced gravity control (aka "anti-gravity") but have no funds to continue the research towards field propulsion (the most obvious practical application.) Whose consequences for our civilization would be immeasurable.
"Research that actually matters" (meaning contradicting mainstream narratives/interests) is gaining relevance today more than ever, but there is a huge gap between the people with the money, and the generations/kinds of people that are actually capable of doing true innovative research. The former live by old paradigms, they have the desire to change the world, but they still live in the old world. The latter know how to change the world, but they live in a new world of revolutionary ideas, having broken with the old paradigms, the old world. There is a disconnection, no communication between both camps.
jack (npub1sg6…f63m) is one particular exception. However he is interested in social media research, and maybe not in other fields like health or space tech, like we are.
We need to find a way to reach out to wealthy people living in the old world, who may want to advance Mankind by supporting true innovative projects of people living in our new world of new ideas.
So let's dream for a minute, let's imagine that someone funds our Gravimatrix project to go mine asteroids at the Asteroid Belt. The resulting astronomical profits would allow us to fund all other opensource decentralized projects, like yours, for example, and then with it we could achieve, who knows?, maybe longer lifespans? A golden age of science! Everything is possible!
Everything is possible, we only need more Connection.
