Well philosophically sure I guess. But literally no. Our brains can change behavior with no suffering and our body parts can be transplanted relatively painlessly with pain blocking medications or by cutting off or blocking nerve cells.
Change can be fun and not necessary to suffer when changing. Mostly change can be good and feel good too, unless you resist.
