I'm torn between "optics are important" and "I don't really care". The former because there is decades of brainwashing that needs to be undone and you're not going to do it by throwing Roman salutes in people's faces, but the latter because they are trying to fuck kids. There is somewhat of a middle ground that I think we need to come to. A measured response, not being a sperg, to most people is what has netted me success in a lot of these endeavors. I have had numerous people come to me and say, "I've been researching the holocaust and you know what, the shit just doesn't make sense".
Watching that light bulb turn on in their brains is a wonderful feeling. Simply put, saying "six million jews killed in ovens? That would take far longer than the supposed duration of the holocaust."
People who lack the ability to rotate an apple in their mind will likely never be able to understand this because they simply received information that has been regurgitated into their minds and accept it as fact, because this is the modern age and no one would ever lie about something so horrific. Humans shed their unquenchable lust for power and subversion of others within the last 30 years for some ethereal reason. No. Humans are and always will be fallen creatures. There is little difference between now and 100 years ago. Even a thousand years ago. It's the same people doing the same things trying to gain power over other people. All it takes is that spark to light the fire of curiosity in their minds. Then, all you have to do is feed it. They're trying to make it illegal because they know that noticing has a exponential effect. First one, then two, then four and so on and so forth. Suddenly, you have millions of people "early lifing" the people in power and, oh, what's this? There's a pattern to be noticed.
The "dissident" right wing has so much potential at their fingertips, if only they understood how to wield it.
