So far we don't get anything in the Sleep Number line.

I would contact the manufacturer. When we have missing parts like that, we have had pretty good luck getting them from the manufacturers for a reasonable charge.

Also most remotes I've seen have to be synced to the unit. If it never worked, or stopped working when the batteries went dead, you might pull the battery cover off and see if there's a way to sync it.
