Wallstreet has been shorting Bitcoin and some popular stocks for a while now.
Shorted by hedgies who expect a bailout from the FED when they blow up.
Jerome Powell has been in the pockets of these same hedgies. He doesn’t want to cut rates because it would moon the same instruments these hedgies are now shorting.
But Trump needs a moon to stay popular. He’s team hyperinflation (short Dollar)
Jerome and Hedgies are team recession/depression (long Dollar)
These are the conflicting political plays below the hood.
It’s ALL political. Don’t get fooled that any of these people actually give a F about the economy or the average Joe. It’s all in their selfish interests.
