How can the public trust ANY media today? Whether it is main stream or alternative, right or left, good or bad, it matters not at all in this discussion. Our technology has progressed to the point where it is not possible for the general public to distinguish between a fake and the real thing.
What will thing technology be used for? Who will abuse it first? Has it already been abused? Our world could easily come crashing down because of a lie.
