Electron.js has supersized everything that people used to hate Java for.
Write once, run anywhere, use any number of CPU cores to implement nothing special
We could do wonders with today's hardware. There is no reason for a chat app to use this amount of resources and still take a perceptible amount of time (>200ms) to draw fucking characters on the fucking screen.
