Revolt is very much a hobby project and I'd advise not using it for any serious purpose. It's basically an incomplete pre-2020 Discord clone, with most of the key features and a like-minded user base (as it is founded in opposition to Discord's direction). It's mostly open source, yet not intended to be selfhosted, as it is centralized.
