The state of Maryland is trying to increase my property tax burden by 43%.
I have made no material improvements to the home. I have not finished any unfinished areas. I haven't replaced the roof, HVAC, or any of the other things I desperately need to do.
The state has decided to rob me an extra 43% because they feel like it, like the highwaymen and robbers they are.
Had they tried this in the 1780s, these jokers would have discovered what a cannon can do to a human body at short range.
