New instance, new #introduction! My name is Ryan, and I live in the suburbs of Phoenix 🌵 with my husband and our son 🏳️‍🌈. Before that I spent 17 years in Kansas City and mostly grew up in the Chicago area.

My day job is healthcare business operations and a large part of that is actually programming and IT. It's a nice way to combine my interests in a unique, exciting, and challenging way. I mostly work in PHP and JavaScript (using the Vue/Inertia/Laravel/Tailwind stack when possible) but I'm trying to learn more Swift, as well.

When I'm not working, I'm a pretty big nerd who likes expanding my smart home setup, general tech and the latest Apple products, Star Trek, cooking, and video games. Mostly the Mario and Zelda franchises, but I dabble in Pokémon and have been a (casual) World of Warcraft player since almost the beginning.
