I was a young teenager, I remember my dad arguing with someone about how without the federal govt they would have never standardized the railroad system. Seemed wrong I thought at the time
I just replaced an old bifold door today in my house.
The picture show two bifold door metal channels. One original from 1978, one brand new.
Standardized, unchanged.
No govt standards, no interstate agency, no commissioner, no centralized planning.
If only ppl thought & observed things the way I do.
